Colorado locals, Amanda & Jenna Revell, developed the idea for their book in late 2010. They grew up in a military family which brought all kinds of people in and out of their lives. They learned the value of finding and accepting new family members throughout their lives and they wanted to create a children's book that would celebrate this kind of found family.
They took the time to develop their art and writing skills and by 2019 they were ready. They wrote and illustrated the story of Tango's Teddy and it was published by early 2021.

Amanda loves visual story telling and currently works in Denver Colorado as a video editor. She loves all things creative but her favorite is illustration. She spends every evening winding down with pencil in hand, sketching.
When she isn't working, she disappears.
Getting lost in the mountains; hiking, kayaking, or camping.

Jenna got her bachelor's in Digital Art.
She has an affinity for art history and storytelling. She loves the genre of fantasy and spends much of her time exploring fantasy in all its forms.
She loves Disney pins, video games, and The Great British Baking Show.
